Dear young scientists,
we kindly welcome you to the 7th Berliner Chemie Symposium (BCS) and 3rd Chemie in Praxis (ChiP) on 5th and 6th April, 2018, at the Erwin Schrödinger Center in Berlin Adlershof.
The JCF Berlin (JungChemikerForum Berlin) is proud to arrange both events in cooperation with JuWiChem (Junge WirtschaftschemikerInnen) bringing together young scientists, PhD researchers, graduates and entrepreneurs from chemistry and related fields of science. We invite all participants to the 7th BCS on 5th April to get inspired by exchanging innovative ideas with other researchers from the local and national scientific community.
Starting off with a plenary talk given by Prof. Dr. Thomas Heine, the day continues with Talk Sessions presented by young researchers. The entirely new format
Young Investigators completes the current BCS program. Prof. Dr. Marga Lensen, Prof. Dr. Kevin Pagel and Dr. Fabian Pfrengle will give us some insight into their research as young professionals in this session.A scientific poster session provides valuable opportunities for scientific discussions and networking with fellow researchers.
We are also very happy to welcome you to the 3rd ChiP on 6th April, which is a great opportunity to take a look at important questions concerning the future career as a chemist. Sustainable innovations as well as digitalization represent new strategic and structural challenges for the chemical industry. Invited experts from industry and the startup scene address the topic
Digitalization in the chemical industry. You will hear different insides regarding trends and challenges in the development of digitalization in chemistry.
We are looking forward to fruitful discussions about the digital adjustment in chemistry and its resulted new business models in the industry.
Both events take place at the Erwin Schrödinger Center at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which is located at Germany’s leading science and technology park Berlin Adlershof. We are grateful for the generous support of our host enabling this two-day event, and also for financial support of our sponsors. We thank you for your active participation, and wish you an inspiring and enjoyable stay.
